Job Summary
The Procurement Assistant supports the procurement team in sourcing, purchasing, and supplier coordination activities, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and timely delivery of goods and services. The role requires fluency in Mandarin to communicate with international suppliers, particularly in China.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in the procurement process, including sourcing, RFQs, and purchase order creation, while maintaining accurate records in internal systems;
* Communicate with Mandarin-speaking suppliers to obtain quotations, negotiate basic terms, and follow up on deliveries;
* Support vendor registration and documentation, track orders to ensure deadlines are met, and coordinate with internal teams such as logistics, finance, and operations;
* Contribute to cost control initiatives and help resolve supply chain issues when necessary;
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related fields, with some experience in procurement or supply chain activities.
* Fluency in Mandarin and English is required.
* Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP and the ability to work in a dynamic, multicultural environment are important for success in this role.
