The Parliament is seeking
one (1) Events Manager
to join its Brussels-based Events and Content team starting
March 2026 (CDI).

In this role, you will
lead on the conceptualization and delivery of The Parliament special projects and client-led events
– leveraging your experience and ideas to innovate our media events.

This is a unique opportunity to join the dynamic and growing team of The Parliament magazine in their
Brussels office
. The Parliament is recognised as a trusted source of critical information for influential policy making across the EU and it is powered by expert commentary from people at the heart of the EU decision making process and across the European capitals.

THE ROLE

The Parliament is seeking an
Events Manager
starting as soon as possible to produce and execute high-profile, innovative, flagship events to grow our reputation in Brussels and Europe.

The Events Manager is a mid-level role focused on creating impactful and timely ad-hoc client-led events as well as our members' series. The Events Manager is responsible for content programs, recruiting and managing top-level speakers, maintaining regular communication with partners and providers, and ensuring the successful delivery of the events.

In this position, the Events Manager works across multiple platforms, including print and digital, and collaborate with various departments within the organization, such as Editorial, Sales, Marketing, and Production.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Content Production:

* Work with the Director of Programmes to plan and design events aligned with current affairs and market needs.
* Liaise with clients to do research calls and meetings with key stakeholders to identify the most pressing topics in EU affairs.
* Lead the development of event concepts, including content and formats

Stakeholder Management:

* Research and recruit speakers, acting as their primary point of contact (pre/post-event communication, briefing, and on-site liaison).
* Serve as the main client contact for all event-related queries to co-create all event aspects.
* Collaborate proactively with the sales team to ensure efficient information sharing and enhance client satisfaction.
* Prepare marketing briefs and support the creation of marketing assets, including email content, print materials, and online promotions.

Logistics:

* Create and maintain all event-related documents, such as websites, apps, trackers, and other tools.
* Ensure a first-class guest experience at Parliament events.
* Work - together with other team supporting members - on all necessary materials for seamless event execution, including stage setup, catering, badges, distribution materials, and management of hosts/hostesses.
* Keep budgets and overall logistics updated and organised.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

* Minimum of 2 years of professional experience with a demonstrated track record in events and project management
* Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
* Proficient in liaising with and coordinating a high number of stakeholders
* Independent and very pro-active, with a strong can-do attitude and eager to innovate
* Must stay on top of the politics and policies of the European Union
* Keen attention to detail and high-level client skills
* Written and verbal fluency in English is required; knowledge of French is appreciated

Starting date
: March 2026 (flexible) with a contract of indeterminate duration. The position is based in Brussels with office time required as well as occasional travel.
