Head of Pre‑Sales – Sopra Steria

Responsibilities
Team Leadership and Management

Recruit, coach, and mentor a high‑performing pre‑sales team.
Set performance standards, conduct reviews, and manage workflow.
Foster a collaborative and motivated team environment.

Presales Strategy Planning and Execution

Develop and implement presales strategies aligned with SBS’s goals and client needs.
Collaborate with sales to identify potential clients and design engagement strategies.
Provide technical and product expertise during sales meetings.
Address customer concerns and overcome barriers to closing deals.
Coordinate with Proposal Management to ensure accurate RFP responses.

Market and Product Knowledge

Stay updated on industry trends and market changes.
Ensure the team knows the latest product developments.

Presales Reporting

Maintain accurate records of presales activities.
Generate reports on team performance, customer feedback, and sales funnel metrics.

Continuous Improvement

Review and refine presales processes, implement new tools.
Provide feedback to product development based on insights.

Qualifications

In‑depth knowledge of the software industry and competitive landscape.
Strategic thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
Experience with RFPs, RFIs, and POCs.
Fluency in English (French highly desirable).
Experience working with global customers.
Strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
Good technology background and system/application design knowledge.
Proficiency with CRM and sales tools.
