For our client, one of Europe's fastest growing high-tech manufacturing companies active in research, defense & security, we are looking for a Supply Chain Operations Manager / Director to strengthen operational governance and oversee the growth of supply chain structures.
This role focuses on building a scalable supply chain organization while ensuring strong alignment with production performance.
Candidates need to bring strong industry experience in manufacturing, and especially with:
* Demand Planning
* S&OP process
* Inventory Management
* Sourcing of critical components (e.g. electronic parts) and supplier management
Please note: This role will report to the VP Operations and it may be filled either on Manager or Director level. This will be discussed during the interview process.
Your Role
* Responsible for leading the supply chain function and establishing clear governance, performance standards and operational review routines
* Oversee the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process across demand planning, procurement and production alignment
* Strengthen supplier reliability and material availability through structured supplier management and sourcing strategies
* Build transparency across operational KPIs and introduce structured reporting and decision frameworks
* Ensure strong alignment between supply chain planning and production performance
* Collaborate closely with Finance on inventory management, cost transparency and working capital optimization
* Identify structural bottlenecks across planning, procurement and operational execution and drive improvement initiatives
What we are looking for
* 10+ years of experience in supply chain management roles within complex manufacturing environments (e.g. high-tech manufacturing, beverage production, automotive, industrial equipment or other production-driven sectors)
* Proven experience building supply chain structures in growing organizations
* Solid financial understanding (inventory management, cost controll, working capital)
* Experience with ERP systems and KPI-driven management
* Ability to work a lot on-site in Tienen (role is very close to production / operations)
* Ability to work cross-functionally with operations, production and finance stakeholders
Your Benefits
* Compensation: 85.000 – 90.000€ salary (based on 13,92 salaries)
