Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Head of Hardware Development to lead our hardware engineering team and drive the design and delivery of high-quality electronic systems. You will define system architectures, guide technical decisions, and ensure successful execution from concept through production.
In this role, you act as the key technical authority for hardware, working closely with customers, internal teams, and stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable and robust solutions. You combine deep technical expertise with strong leadership and communication skills.
Required Qualifications
Leadership & Management
* Proven experience leading and growing hardware engineering teams
* Strong ability to mentor engineers and drive technical excellence
* Experience managing project timelines, priorities, and resource allocation
System Architecture
* Strong expertise in system-level architecture for embedded electronic products
* Ability to think conceptually and creatively about architectures, exploring out-of-the-box solutions when needed
* Ability to define, challenge, and review complex hardware designs (analog, digital, mixed-signal)
Customer & Stakeholder Interaction
* Experience in technical discussions with customers and translating requirements into specifications
* Ability to balance technical trade-offs with business and product needs
* Strong communication skills, both technical and non-technical
Hardware Development Expertise
* Extensive experience with schematic and PCB design processes
* Solid understanding of EMC/EMI, signal integrity, and power design
* Experience with prototyping, bring-up, validation, and production ramp-up
Process & Quality
* Experience with design reviews, development processes, and quality assurance
* Familiarity with DFM/DFA and working with manufacturing partners
* Structured and pragmatic approach to problem-solving and decision-making
