Financial Controller Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial controlling, reporting, and external audits.
About the Role:
* Prepare Periodical Financial Reporting: Accurate and timely variance analyses are crucial for making informed business decisions.
* Collaborate with Local Finance Managers: Consolidate and validate results to ensure transparency and accuracy.
* Assist in Closing Activities: Month-end processes and ensuring IFRS compliance are essential for maintaining a smooth operation.
The scope of responsibilities for this job includes preparing periodical financial reporting, collaborating with local finance managers, and assisting in closing activities. Additionally, the successful candidate will support the development and maintenance of KPI dashboards and financial forecasting models.
Budgeting & Forecasting:
* Work Closely with the Finance Director: Coordinate budget preparation and forecasting projects to ensure alignment with business goals.
* Perform Deep-Dive Analysis: Ensure insights align with business goals by analyzing data at the article/product level.
In addition to budgeting and forecasting, the Financial Controller will work closely with the Finance Director to coordinate budget preparation and forecasting projects, perform deep-dive analysis, and evaluate capital expenditure requests.
Plant-Control & Operational Support:
* Monitor Plant Performance: Track margins, product mixes across global locations.
* Audit and Manage Transfer Pricing Policies: Ensure compliance with global standards.
* Train/Mentor Plant Controllers: Enhance operational efficiency by training and mentoring plant controllers in financial processes.
The Financial Controller will also be responsible for monitoring plant performance, auditing and managing transfer pricing policies, and training/mentoring plant controllers.
Commercial & Project-Based Support:
* Provide Commercial Controlling Inputs: Sales forecasts, contribution analysis.
* Evaluate Capital Expenditure Requests: Perform ROI analysis for potential investments.
* Execute Financial Projects: Enhance processes such as supply chain cost reduction or ERP optimization.

* Master's Degree: Economics, finance, or equivalent field.
* Minimum 3-5 Years Experience: Financial controlling, reporting, or external audits.
