Account Executive – High‑Growth EPM SaaS (Mid‑Market & Enterprise)
Our client is a fast‑scaling, internationally backed SaaS company building one of the most modern planning and decision‑support platforms for finance teams. Their technology empowers organisations to automate reporting, accelerate forecasting, and run more dynamic, collaborative planning processes. We have partnered exclusively with them to hire an accomplished Account Executive who will play a key role in driving new business across the mid‑market and enterprise segments.
About the Role
The successful candidate will take ownership of the full commercial cycle—from initial qualification through to close—engaging senior finance stakeholders and navigating multi‑person decision groups. This is a role for a proactive, intellectually curious salesperson who can balance consultative discovery with disciplined execution.
Our client sells a high‑impact, mission‑critical solution, meaning the Account Executive will manage a blend of shorter sales cycles as well as more strategic, longer‑term opportunities. You’ll work closely with product and revenue leadership, becoming deeply knowledgeable about the platform and how it delivers measurable value to finance organisations.
Key Responsibilities
* Engage prospects to understand their financial planning and reporting challenges, clearly articulating how the platform supports strategic decision‑making
* Lead conversations with senior‑level finance professionals (CFO, Finance Director, FP&A leaders, etc.)
* Manage complex buying groups and coordinate all stakeholders throughout the evaluation process
* Take ownership of inbound opportunities and maintain a healthy, self‑generated pipeline through focused outbound outreach
* Deliver compelling product demonstrations tailored to specific customer needs
* Maintain accurate forecasting and consistently progress opportunities through the pipeline
* Work closely with product teams to communicate customer challenges and influence future product direction
What Our Client Is Looking For
* 4+ years’ experience in quota‑carrying B2B SaaS sales
* Strong track record selling into mid‑market organisations; experience with complex or mission‑critical software is ideal
* Demonstrated ability to close multiple deals per quarter with typical cycles of 2–6 months
* A consultative, analytical, value‑oriented selling style
* Confidence engaging senior stakeholders and delivering polished demonstrations
* Consistent over‑achievement in fast‑paced or scaling environments
* Ability to generate pipeline through targeted outreach, not just inbound
* High adaptability and comfort operating in a rapidly evolving, high‑growth company
