The regulatory nurse will play a key coordinating role for medical assistance abroad (advise from medical perspective, organize repatriation,…)
What You'll Be Doing
* Supervising on the operations and logistics front and organisation of medicalised repatriations
* Providing the interface between medical management, medical regulation staff based in Paris and the assistance platform teams
* Looking for and briefing medical escorts
* Gathering the medical reports and retranscribing them in the files
* Having phone contacts with the various intervening parties (hospitals throughout the world, families, airlines, ambulance companies etc.)
* Applying the procedures and ensuring compliance with them
* Looking for re-hospitalisation spaces where this is necessary
Transversal Tasks
* Ensuring communication of top down and bottom up information
* Evaluating, analysing and sharing with the team the performances of the cluster, associating it in the search for and implementation of possible actions for improvement
* Involvement in projects related to the department (health and travel projects).
* Contributing towards the formulation, writing, implementation and follow-up of procedures
* Promoting a work atmosphere that inspires trust and individual and collective commitment
* Cooperating on the implementation and proper operation of crisis units
* Collaboration with other departments (communication, marketing) upervising on the operations and logistics front and organisation of medicalised repatriations
What You'll Bring
* Bachelor Nurse A1
* Fire and Emergency Medical Assistance (SIAMU) or with a certain amount of experience in acute care (military nurse, humanitarian nurse)
* Language skills: French, fluent in English, fluent in Dutch
* Geographical knowledge of the Belgian hospital sector
* Capacity for analysis, synthesis, decision-making and organisation
* Comfortable with human interaction, suitability for teamwork
* Suitablity for work in an emergency context
* Knowledge of IT tools
* Adaptability
* Flexibility
