General Manager – HotelLocation: Radisson Hotel Liège City Centre, BelgiumPosition SummaryThe General Manager is fully accountable for the overall business performance of the hotel, including profitability, revenue growth, operational excellence, guest satisfaction, talent development, and compliance with brand standards.The role carries full P&L ownership and is responsible for delivering sustainable financial performance while maximizing asset value and ensuring an exceptional guest experience.The General Manager acts as the business leader of the property, balancing operational execution with strategic, commercial, and financial priorities.Direct reports may include:Director of FinanceDirector of Sales & Revenue ManagerFront Office ManagerHR ManagerKey Responsibilities1. Financial Leadership & Profitability ManagementLead and oversee all financial aspects of the property, including:Full P&L ownership and accountabilityAnnual budgeting and business planningMonthly forecasting and variance analysisCost control and expense optimizationEBITDA and GOP growthCash flow monitoringPayroll cost managementFinancial risk managementProductivity and efficiency optimizationMonitor and drive performance against key financial indicators:RevPAR (Revenue per Available Room)ADR (Average Daily Rate)OccupancyGOP (Gross Operating Profit)GOPPAR (Gross Operating Profit per Available Room)EBITDAPayroll %Profit conversion ratiosPrimary objective: maximize profitability while preserving long-term asset value.2. Commercial Strategy & Revenue GrowthDevelop and execute strategies to increase market share and revenue through:Revenue management optimizationPricing and yield strategiesCorporate and group business developmentMICE and events segment growthStrategic partnershipsSales performance monitoringMarket intelligence and competitor analysisCollaborate closely with Sales and Revenue teams to achieve:Revenue targetsMarket penetration growthImproved RevPAR IndexIncreased customer acquisition and retention3. Strategic Leadership & Asset ManagementDrive long-term business performance by:Developing multi-year strategic plansIdentifying growth opportunitiesSupporting investment and renovation decisionsAligning operational objectives with ownership expectationsProtecting and enhancing asset valueServe as the primary liaison between hotel operations and ownership stakeholders.4.
