Introduction
What will your working day look like?
As knowledge holder you will assist the employees at our sites in Antwerp and Dunkirk in the correct safe and compliant management of all locally installed hardware and software for operational technology (industrial automation). For this you have contacts with a variety of people and are involved in several automation projects so that no day will be the same.
What will be your biggest challenge?
Together with the sites and procurement, you maintain contacts with the suppliers of the systems with the aim of safe, efficient and compliant systems both in design and in management. You assist project engineers in drafting specifications and maintenance and operations in local procedures on system management. You maintain contacts with external parties, auditors and governments regarding conformity to legislation and standards in systems management and cybersecurity. You work closely with other automation engineers at different Indaver sites and share your knowledge and experience. You supervise risk assessment workshops with the sites on the system architectures. You adapt your communication to your interlocutor and manage to clarify matters and convince people in understandable language.
A background in cybersecurity is not necessary, you will receive intensive support and the necessary additional training and will be warmly welcomed in an experienced team of employees both locally and centrally.
How will you make a difference?
1. You have a Master degree in Electromechanics/Electronics/
Automation/ICT
2. You have at least 3 years of relevant experience.
3. You speak and write Dutch and English
4. You work independently and accurately, are customer-oriented and an excellent coordinating communicator.

Where will you be working?
Site of Antwerp/Hooge Maay (BE) and Duinkerke (FR)
You will join a local project & modification team - together with a central engineering team and knowledge sharing with colleagues from other Indaver locations.
