As an Oracle Developer, you’ll play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing Oracle-based solutions, including database customizations, integrations, and extensions of the MECOMS solution. You’ll have the opportunity to explore Oracle technologies, PL/SQL programming, and tools like Oracle Forms, Reports, or APEX, all while driving your career and personal growth.
Tasks and responsibilities
* Design, develop, and test Oracle-based customizations, extensions, and data migrations.
* Implement system integrations to ensure seamless operations within the MECOMS solution.
* Write and maintain PL/SQL code for optimal database performance.
* Analyze customer needs and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
* Create and review technical design documents with accurate estimations.
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently while optimizing performance.
* Provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers in the team.
Profile
You have:
* A bachelor’s degree in applied informatics, electronics/ICT, computer science, or a related field.
* 3+ years of experience in Oracle database development, including expertise in PL/SQL.
* Familiarity with Oracle Forms, Reports, or APEX is a strong advantage.
* A solid understanding of database design and performance optimization.
* Proficiency in Dutch and English; additional languages are a plus.
