Ph3Job Purpose /h3 pOncology pipeline MSL is a pivotal field-based role that connects GSK to the healthcare community. This non-promotional, customer-facing position focuses on advancing clinical practice within an assigned territory to improve patient outcomes. The pipeline MSL brings deep clinical and oncology therapeutic expertise and market/landscape knowledge to engage with Healthcare Providers (HCPs) and account personnel, in alignment with GSK's medical strategies and plans. /p pKey objectives of the pipeline MSL include engaging with various community and academic experts, facilitating scientific exchange, and serving as a medical resource. These scientific interactions aim to ensure that healthcare providers, and when relevant payers and other decision makers, understand the unmet patient and healthcare needs, evolving treatment landscape and the benefit/risk profile of GSK medicines for their safe and appropriate use, improved patient outcomes and closure of gaps in unmet medical needs. /p pThe pipeline MSL role is crucial for identifying disease and product-related medical needs, ensuring the exchange of scientific knowledge, capturing and communicating medical insights, and facilitating research to advance clinical practice. This role will be a national role and cover Belgium. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liLeverage scientific expertise and market knowledge to identify and engage HCPs (including academic and community HCPs, Pharmacists, Physician Assistants, nurses, and other healthcare professionals) who may have educational needs and can provide insights needed to inform medical plans. /li liEngage with HCPs on emerging data, clinical trials, medical unmet needs, patient barriers to access, market dynamics, and educate on disease state and product information. /li liContribute to medical strategy by collecting and communicating medical insights throughout the product lifecycle and understanding the potential impact of these insights. /li liDemonstrate strategic territory planning and management and appropriate identification, mapping, and planning of scientific engagements in territory with key accounts and aligned with medical strategy. /li liSupport clinical trials by facilitating relevant medical activities and collaborating with Medical Affairs and Clinical Operations colleagues. /li liCollaborate with internal colleagues (e.g., Medical Affairs, marketing, commercial, sales) to ensure a customer-centric approach aligned with GSK Standard Operating Procedures. /li liUnderstand and address the unique medical needs and attributes of accounts (e.g. educational needs, pathways). /li liMaintain in-depth knowledge of assigned therapeutic areas and GSK medicines to serve as a medical resource to both customers and internal colleagues. Understand the landscape and prepare to address the educational needs of customers. /li liAdhere to GSK’s Code of Conduct, policies and standards, and relevant ways of working documents. Ensure all activities are conducted in a compliant manner, reflecting GSK's commitment to transparency, respect, integrity, and patient focus. /li liExecute all administrative responsibilities, training, and documentation requirements in a timely manner. /li liParticipate in Field Medical and cross-enterprise projects and teams that support medical strategies and tactics. /li /ul h3Basic Qualifications /h3 ul liDoctorate level with a medical or clinical focus (Pharm D, PhD, or MD) or MS- advanced science/clinical/healthcare related degree with relevant clinical, industry and/or oncology experience (e.g., MSN, ANP, MS, MPH). /li liOncology experience specifically Lung and GI Cancer preferably in Belgium. /li liMedical Affairs experience preferably medical liaison experience. /li li2+ years’ experience in clinical research or clinical operations in humans and has practical experience applying this knowledge in an oncology focused clinical setting. /li liExperience engaging in peer-to-peer scientific dialogue with medical professionals and decision makers. /li liExperience delivering medical-based presentations. /li liExperience identifying opportunities for medical engagement and developing scientific engagement goals. /li liExperience developing relationships with external HCPs, KOLs, and external experts and with internal stakeholders and key decision makers. /li /ul h3Preferred Qualifications /h3 ul liPrevious clinical experience in situations where direct/or indirect decision-making authority for patient care was demonstrated (e.g., direct patient care, treatment protocol development, drug therapy guidelines development, traditional clinical pharmacy practice settings). /li liProven track record of consistent, high performance. /li liAbove average computer literacy (e.g. utilizing AI and digital fluency), including experience with software applications. /li /ul h3Disability Assistance /h3 pIf you have a disability and require assistance during the course of the selection process, you will have the opportunity to let us know what specific assistance you require in order to make suitable arrangements. /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
