Your mission As a Network Security Engineer, you will be responsible for the management, optimization, and security of a highly complex enterprise network environment. You will collaborate closely with network engineers, architects, and external partners to ensure stability, performance, and security across the infrastructure. Your key responsibilities include: Analyzing and resolving complex network incidents Designing and implementing new technologies and improvements Working closely with IT Operations and architecture teams Managing incidents and changes via ServiceNow (SNOW) Contributing to continuous service improvement initiatives Technology stack You will work with a modern and diverse network environment including: Cisco ACI & APIC Fortinet firewalls & Meraki MX Meraki WiFi solutions ☁️ VMware NSX-T ⚖️ Network Load Balancers (Citrix Netscaler, AVI, …) Your profile We are looking for a strong technical expert with an operational and problem-solving mindset: Minimum 10 years of experience in Cisco network administration Strong expertise in enterprise datacenter networking (North/South & East/West) Solid experience with firewall technologies (Fortinet, Meraki MX) Hands-on automation experience (Bash, Python, Ansible, etc.) Good knowledge of Software Defined Networking (ACI, NSX-T) Solid Linux knowledge Familiarity with IoT environments ️ Experience with ServiceNow, Jira, Cacti, Instana Must-have experience 8–10 years in large-scale enterprise network environments Strong hands-on Cisco datacenter networking background Proven firewall and network segmentation experience Basic scripting/automation capabilities Fluent in Dutch or French professional English Why this role?
