"Solving the Researcher's Problem" – that is our mission at Peira Scientific Instruments. As a Creative Engineer, you work closely with customers, think along with them, and act as a true partner to researchers and life science professionals.
Your work is diverse: from service interventions and modifications to existing equipment, to automation projects, custom installations, and the development of new MedTech devices.
You collaborate with sales, engineering, and the technical team to bring your concepts to life. You are the central point of contact: equally comfortable behind the computer, in the workshop, or on-site at leading customer locations.

Peira Scientific Instruments is a leading mechatronic partner for the life sciences industry. The company supports customers in the pharmaceutical sector, academia, and the MedTech industry. Peira specializes in developing customer-specific laboratory and production equipment, providing technical services to scientific labs, as well as the development and contract manufacturing of medical devices.
In addition to its own engineering and model shop department in Beerse, Peira operates a modern production facility in Molenstede, equipped with an extensive CNC machine park and a professional assembly area.

Responsibilities
* You collaborate with the Solutions Manager to develop and implement solutions together with the customer.
* You independently work out the technical solutions and guide your colleagues in realizing them.
* Together with the service team, you are responsible for the installation and implementation of mechatronic solutions on-site at the customer.
* You work for several local key accounts as well as for field customers, mainly but not exclusively in Belgium.
Technical Skills
In this role, you are surrounded by specialists, but it is helpful if you have basic knowledge of mechatronics:
* Basic knowledge of SolidWorks or willingness to learn
* Basic knowledge of Eplan or willingness to learn
* Basic electronics knowledge is a plus
* Basic optics knowledge is a plus
* Basic programming knowledge
