Vétérinaires Sans Frontières Belgium (VSF-B) is looking for a Finance & Administration Manager to strengthen the efficiency, quality and strategic alignment of our financial and administrative services.
In this role, you will contribute directly to the impact of our programmes in Africa by ensuring robust financial management, supporting decision-making and leading the continuous improvement of our systems and processes across headquarters, regional and country offices.

Responsabilities
Align financial resources with strategic development to ensure organisational agility.
Enhance frameworks for financial management and internal control in line with the procurement policy across the organisation.
Maintain and communicate financial dashboards to stakeholders with accurate analysis and robust consolidation systems.
Animate budget and forecast processes at regional and HQ levels.
Optimise financial ressources allocation on donor’s contract and harmonise practices accross the organisation.
Coordinate financial reporting and ensure compliance with institutional donors’ procedures.
Enhance automatization and digitalization of reporting systems.
Coordinate statutory and donor’s audits.
Maintain financial manuals and procurement policies, ensure compliance with the organisational framework.
Train and coach an effective and collaborative international team.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Business, Financial Management, Economics, or equivalent experience
5–8 years of experience in mid or advanced -level Accounting and Financial management.
Strong expertise in financial strategy, internal control and performance monitoring
Proven experience in leading financial and organisational change
Familiarity with institutional donors (e.g. EU, DGD, USAID)
Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills
Excellent IT and data management skills
Full professional proficiency in French
Ability to work in a multicultural and decentralised environment
Assets:
Experience in the non-profit or international development sector, preferably in Africa
Knowledge of English and/or Dutch
Experience with decentralised organisations
