We are looking for a highly experienced Enterprise Architect to support the definition, governance, and evolution of a large-scale IT landscape within a complex and fast-evolving environment.
The role is positioned at the intersection of strategy, governance, and delivery, ensuring alignment between business objectives, IT initiatives, and a federated operating model. The Enterprise Architect will play a key role in shaping the target architecture, guiding transformation initiatives, and enforcing architecture standards across the organization.
As an Enterprise Architect, you will:
1. Lead the definition and continuous improvement of the enterprise architecture governance framework, including principles, standards, policies, reference architectures, and decision workflows (ARB).
2. Contribute to the implementation of a federated target operating model, ensuring alignment with platform governance and translating architectural guardrails into actionable guidance.
3. Support strategic decision-making by contributing to evaluations, studies, and architecture vision alongside senior leadership.
4. Ensure alignment between business needs and IT strategy, collaborating closely with business and domain architects.
5. Drive the evolution of the application and data architecture landscape, ensuring consistency, scalability, and sustainability.
6. Act as a key advisor and coach for architecture communities across the organization.
Your key activities will be:
Architecture Governance & Decision-Making
7. Facilitate Architecture Review Board (ARB) sessions, including preparation of decision packs, ensuring traceability and escalation paths.
8. Maintain and evolve architecture principles, standards, and reference architectures.
9. Perform initiative architecture alignment assessments at key stages (kick-off, milestones), providing go / no-go / conditional recommendations.
10. Conduct architecture compliance reviews and manage deviations through formal governance processes.
Strategy & Roadmap
11. Define and maintain the Architecture Vision Document.
12. Contribute to the enterprise-wide IT roadmap, including dependencies, impacts, and transformation initiatives.
13. Support strategic analysis and decision-making processes at senior management level.
Analysis & Portfolio Management
14. Collect and analyze business and IT gaps through surveys and assessments.
15. Conduct cross-domain trade-off analyses using industry methods (e.g., ATAM).
16. Perform cost-benefit analyses (e.g., CBAM) to support architectural recommendations.
17. Guide the evolution of the application portfolio, including lifecycle, rationalization, and investment decisions.
18. Gather and structure application-related data (e.g., cost, usage) to support analysis.
Architecture Repository & Standards
19. Maintain the enterprise architecture repository as a single source of truth (models, artefacts, decisions).
20. Manage the Architecture Decision Record (ADR) repository, including compliance levels (mandatory vs recommended).
21. Define and maintain enterprise data architecture standards, including:
22. Data modeling conventions
23. Data integration patterns
24. Data governance principles
25. Assess initiative-level data designs against these standards.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
26. Communicate architecture strategy and processes to business and IT stakeholders.
27. Validate architectural recommendations with senior management.
28. Collaborate across teams (business, IT, infrastructure, architecture domains).
29. Coach and guide other architects (domain, solution, data).
Process Integration
30. Ensure alignment between architecture governance and other IT processes such as:
31. Project Portfolio Management (PPM)
32. IT Service Management (ITSM)
You have the following skills:
Experience
33. Minimum 10 years of experience in Enterprise Architecture.
34. Proven experience with architecture governance frameworks and ARB facilitation.
35. Experience in complex transformation environments.
Methodologies & Frameworks
36. Strong knowledge of:
37. TOGAF
38. ArchiMate
39. ITIL
40. Domain-Driven Design (DDD)
41. Familiarity with Gartner frameworks (e.g., TIME for Application Portfolio Management).
Architecture & Technology
42. Experience with cloud-native architecture patterns and platform governance (guardrails, onboarding criteria).
43. Strong understanding of microservices and event-driven architectures.
44. Experience in application portfolio management and enterprise data architecture.
Tools
45. Experience with architecture modeling tools such as:
46. Sparx Enterprise Architect
47. SAP LeanIX
48. or equivalent

Votre profil
60. You have at least 10 years of professional experiences in IT
61. If you are at least fluent in FR/ENG or NL/ENG it’s best
