Cybersecurity Architect (Freelance)
We are looking for a visionary Lead Cybersecurity Architect to design and implement robust, future-proof security frameworks. This role is fundamental to ensuring that our systems are built with security and privacy at their core, utilizing modern defense-in-depth strategies.

Role Scope & Responsibilities
As the Lead Architect, you will bridge the gap between business requirements and technical security execution, ensuring all ICT infrastructure is resilient by design.
* Security & Privacy by Design: Lead the architectural design of solutions that integrate security and privacy from the initial conceptual phase.
* Secure Infrastructure Design: Design and oversee secure ICT architectures, ensuring high availability and integrity across the enterprise.
* Modern Defense Implementation: Develop and implement advanced security measures, including network segmentation, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and Zero-Trust architectures.
* Risk Assessment: Perform systematic threat modeling and comprehensive security design reviews for all new and existing systems.
* Framework Alignment: Align cybersecurity architecture with established enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, SABSA) to ensure business-security synchronization.
Key Deliverables
1. Cybersecurity Architecture Diagrams: Detailed visual representations of secure network topologies, data flows, and security control placements.
2. Cybersecurity Requirements Report: Detailed specifications for security controls and technical requirements for new projects.
3. Secure System Acquisition and Development Policy: A governing framework for the secure procurement of third-party systems and internal software development life cycles (SDLC).
Required Qualifications & Skills
Mandatory Requirements:
* Experience: Extensive experience in enterprise-level security architecture and a deep understanding of Zero-Trust principles.
Relevant Certifications (One minimum):
* ISACA ITCA (Information Technology Certified Associate)
* CompTIA SecurityX (formerly CASP+)
* SABSA or TOGAF certifications are highly valued for this role.
Technical & Soft Skills:
* Mastery of threat modeling methodologies (e.g., STRIDE, PASTA).
* Strong ability to design scalable security solutions in hybrid (Cloud/On-prem) environments.
* Excellent communication skills to justify architectural decisions to both technical teams and stakeholders.
