The Trouble Shooter, reports to the CAMO MCC Manager (functional) & to the P145 Planning Manager (disciplinary).
1. Performs trouble shooting services in accordance with the MOE, CAME, ProX, OEM data in compliance to NAA & EASA
2. Ensures Comm-links between the P145 Operation Manager, MCC Mgr, MCC, Engineering, Plan., Trg & Maintenance
3. Performs ad-hoc in-depth troubleshooting - systematic approach & technical assistance to flight crew & technicians
4. A/C Systems, post flight reports & open workorders, discover negative trends, recurrency or AOG risks
5. Follow-up & in-depth screening of MEL Items
6. Create, follow-up & solve troubleshooting cases for individual A/C + repetitive problems
7. ‘Electronic Pending Shelf'
8. Records new/complex problems with final resume (Technical Case Manager)
9. Reports deficiencies/developing fleetwide problems to Engineering, in the daily Ops to MCC Manager + MCC + Troubleshooting Dept

10. Bachelor in Aeronautical, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering OR equivalent relevant experience in aircraft maintenance (EASA Part 66 License)
11. Minimum 5 years of B1/B2 (OR equivalent relevant) XP
12. Good knowledge of EASA Part M, P145, P66
13. Holder of (active) A/C type ratings operated by Brussels Airlines is a plus
14. Good Comms skills, ability to prioritize, work independently/as part of a team, reliable and motivated, good time management skills
15. Comprehensive negotiation & communication skills in English (written & spoken)
16. Very well developed analytical skill
17. Ability to approach a situation/problem in a structured, methodical & logical way
18. Operational awareness
19. Able to work under time pressure
20. Excellent decision making skills
21. Proficiency in the use of MS Office applications
22. AMOS knowledge is a plus
