As a Medior/Senior Software Consultant for our own CRM solution Smartsales, your mission is to translate customer needs into well-thought-out and efficient software configurations. You support customers in optimising their business processes by configuring and parametrising Smartsales so it perfectly matches their way of working.
You play an important role throughout the entire project lifecycle: from functional analysis and workshops with the customer to the configuration, implementation and follow-up of the solution. Thanks to your experience, you can operate autonomously, guide customers with confidence and ensure high-quality delivery.
Rather than focusing on pure development, this role is mainly centred around functional thinking, configuration, parametrisation and customer interaction.
You will work on several projects at the same time, for clients in very different sectors. With more than 1000 customers, no two projects are alike. Expect variation, responsibility and impact in your day-to-day work.
And of course, you will do all this at the Best Workplace of Belgium since 2015.
As a Medior/Senior Consultant, you will:
* Analyse customer needs and business processes
* Translate functional requirements into concrete configurations of the Smartsales solution
* Configure and parametrise the solution so it fully aligns with the customer’s needs
* Act as a functional and business-oriented advisor for your customers
* Manage your own planning, projects and client portfolio with a high degree of autonomy
* Ensure smooth implementations at customer sites
* Coordinate with Project Managers and other consultants to ensure project success
* Follow up on ongoing projects and proactively suggest optimisations
* Provide user training and functional guidance to customers
* Share knowledge and best practices within the team and support junior colleagues when needed
Must-have
* Bachelor or Master’s degree, preferably in Business or a similar field with an affinity for IT
* 2 years to 8 years of relevant experience in a functional business consulting, business application consulting or similar role
* Experience with software configuration or parametrisation
* Strong analytical and functional mindset
* Customer-oriented with strong communication skills
* Able to work independently and take responsibility for projects
* Willing to travel to customers 1 to 2 days per week
Nice-to-have
* Comfortable handling multiple projects at the same time
* Interest in business processes (sales, operations, CRM, …)
* Comfortable participating in functional or commercial discussions
* Experience in coaching or supporting junior colleagues
