Are you excited to create business value out of data? /p h3As Machine Learning Engineer - Data Scientist on our team, you will: /h3 ul liWork closely with business stakeholders to understand and frame their challenges as analytical problems. /li liApply machine learning, statistical methods, and optimization techniques to develop innovative solutions that drive business impact. /li liDesign, build, and evaluate predictive and prescriptive models, ensuring their reliability and robustness. /li liLead the end-to-end lifecycle of ML products: from ideation and prototyping to deployment and ongoing evaluation in production. /li liCollaborate with fellow Data Scientists to share knowledge, best practices, and continuously improve our methodologies. /li liEnsure the quality and performance of your solutions through rigorous testing and continuous monitoring post-deployment. /li liContribute to our data science community by developing reusable assets, sharing your expertise, and participating in innovation initiatives. /li /ul h3Profile /h3 pAs Machine Learning Engineer – Data Scientist, you have: /p ul liAt least 2 years of experience as a Data Scientist/ML engineer or a similar analytical role. /li liMaster’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Physics, Computer Science). /li liStrong practical knowledge of machine learning, statistics, and optimization techniques, with hands‑on experience in applying them to real‑world problems. Experience in developing, evaluating, and deploying end‑to‑end data science solutions. /li liProficiency in Python and common data science libraries /li liFamiliarity with cloud computing environments. /li liExcellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences. /li liFluent in English, as well as French or Dutch /li /ul pAnd you are also: /p ul liPassionate about solving business problems with data and analytics. /li liOutcome‑focused, able to balance technical excellence with business needs. /li liCurious and eager to continuously learn and experiment with new techniques. /li liCollaborative and thrive in team environments. /li liProactive, analytical, and solution‑oriented. /li /ul pAXA aims to be a reflection of the diverse society in which we live and has therefore been pursuing a policy of active diversity, non‑discrimination, and equal opportunities for many years.
