We are seeking a passionate and versatile Lead Software Development Engineer to expand our search experience for CoCounsel. In this role, you will be instrumental in delivering a seamless and intuitive search experience for our users, ensuring both a delightful front-end interface and a robust, scalable backend foundation.

About the role: Technical Leadership:

Own the end-to-end technical vision and execution for our customer-data search feature, balancing user experience with backend performance and reliability. Full-Stack Focus:

Lead the design and development of both front-end (React) and backend (C#, Azure) components, ensuring consistency, scalability, and maintainability throughout. Decision-Making & Collaboration:

Actively listen to team input, foster open dialogue, and confidently make informed technical decisions when needed. Cross-Functional Partnership:

Collaborate closely with architects, QA, and Product teams to translate designs and requirements into actionable, high-quality software solutions. Distributed Systems Expertise:

Architect and implement high-volume, distributed systems that can handle large-scale customer data securely and efficiently. Mentorship & Culture:

Guide and mentor engineers, championing a culture of innovation, curiosity, and excellence.

About you: Proven experience leading development of complex features or products, ideally search or data-focused. Deep expertise in

React

(front-end) and

C#

(backend), with a strong track record in the

Azure

ecosystem. Demonstrated ability to build and optimize distributed, high-volume systems. Skilled in implementing designs, collaborating with architects, QA, and Product teams. Strong decision-making skills, with a willingness to listen and adapt. Passionate about delivering exceptional user experiences and robust backend systems.
