Workload: 1 day per week. /p pWe are looking for a bSenior Data Engineer /b to design, build, and operate a secure, scalable, and cost-efficient cloud data platform within an enterprise environment. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liDesign and implement Azure-based cloud data platform infrastructure (compute, storage, networking) /li liSet up and maintain DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, environments (dev/test/prod), monitoring, and alerting /li liImplement security and access controls in line with ICT policies /li liAutomate platform operations to reduce manual effort and operational risk /li liEnsure the platform is production-ready, stable, and resilient /li liEnforce security, access control, and compliance (IAM, networking, secrets management, GDPR-by-design) /li liMonitor performance, reliability, and cost of the data platform /li liSupport DevOps, DataOps, and MLOps practices across analytics and AI workloads /li /ul h3Required Experience /h3 ul liSeveral years of experience with cloud data platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure /li liExperience operating and maintaining production-grade data platforms /li liStrong background in CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation /li liExperience working within enterprise ICT standards and compliance frameworks (GDPR, IAM, security policies) /li /ul h3Key Skills /h3 ul liStrong expertise in Azure (networking, storage, compute, security) /li liExperience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM) /li liProficiency with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions) /li liStrong knowledge of Databricks, SQL Server, MySQL, Python, and SQL /li liExperience with monitoring, logging, alerting, and cost management /li liUnderstanding of IAM, secrets management, private endpoints, and network segmentation /li liFamiliarity with data lineage and documentation practices /li /ul h3Profile /h3 ul liSenior engineering mindset with ability to guide and support junior engineers /li liStrong automation-first approach (if it happens twice, it gets scripted) /li liFocus on stability, performance, security, and reliability /li liHands-on and pragmatic problem solver /li liCollaborative across ICT, governance, and data teams /li liStrong operational discipline and documentation mindset /li /ul h3Languages /h3 ul liEnglish: Full professional proficiency (required) /li liDutch: Nice to have /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
