Full Stack Developer: Production Tools
At Luminex Network Intelligence, we empower AV professionals in the worldwide entertainment industry by providing technology they can use with confidence. Our software development team plays a key role in delivering high-quality, reliable solutions that meet the demands of live events, broadcast and integration projects.
We are looking for a Full Stack Software Developer who will take ownership of our in-house production tools. If you're someone who thrives on understanding and improving practical software solutions, who enjoys collaborating with production and operations teams, this is your chance to make a tangible impact in a high-tech AV environment.
* Take full ownership of existing production support tools, such as the hardware production tester and device management platform.
* Analyze and understand existing codebases and implement enhancements and new features.
* Design and develop new cloud-based back-end and web-based front-end components, as required.
* Collaborate closely with production coordinators, engineering and internal warehouse staff, ensuring tools align with actual workflows.
* Continuously improve reliability, usability and maintainability of internal tools.
* Help shape the long-term evolution of these tools, potentially converging into a new unified platform.
* Follow software best practices including version control, CI/CD pipelines, unit testing and clean code principles.
Key Requirements:
* Solid experience as a full-stack developer, ideally with both cloud-based back-end and web front-end expertise.
* Working knowledge of Ruby on Rails, Qt/C++ and Python — to maintain and enhance existing internal tools.
* Strong understanding of modern development frameworks, architectural patterns and clean code practices that result in delivering high-quality software.
* Proven ability to work independently and take ownership of products over their lifecycle.
* Experience or interest in hardware-software interfacing (e.g., controlling or monitoring connected devices).
* A problem-solving, hands-on mindset, able to work pragmatically in a production-driven context.
* A collaborative attitude, with the ability to understand the needs of non-software end users.
* Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Git is a strong plus.
* An interest in the AV industry or a willingness to learn about AV technologies.
