At Iberia Tech, you will join a team responsible for supporting and evolving the network infrastructure that enables critical systems and services across the organization.
What will you do in this exciting role?
As a Senior Network Specialist, you will be a key technical reference for Iberia’s networking environment, covering both on-premise infrastructure and AWS cloud networks.
You will contribute to the design and evolution of our hybrid network architecture, ensuring secure, scalable and highly available connectivity across critical enterprise systems and multiple locations.
Working closely with engineering teams, product teams and external providers, you will help guide technical decisions and support the continuous improvement of our network infrastructure.
What you'll do day-to-day:
• Design, operate and evolve LAN, WAN, WLAN and VPN network environments
• Define architecture for hybrid networks integrating AWS and on-premise environments
• Manage and support network services and advanced networking configurations in AWS, including VPC design and load balancing
• Lead the design, planning and deployment of network infrastructure projects
• Define network architecture standards and technical documentation
• Lead the resolution of critical incidents and complex network problems
• Support escalation management in critical environments
• Coordinate technically with network service providers, telecom operators and technology partners
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the network infrastructure and technical roadmap
• Provide technical supervision and mentoring to junior and mid-level engineers
What we’re looking for:
• +5 years of experience in networking roles
• Strong experience in enterprise networking environments, including routing, switching, QoS, high availability and security
• Advanced knowledge of networking in AWS, including hybrid architectures integrating cloud and on-premise environments
• Experience working in enterprise environments with multiple locations and critical services
• Experience leading or coordinating network projects
• Strong technical leadership and stakeholder communication skills
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external providers
• Fluent English and Spanish
What would be a plus:
• Certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, NSE or AWS Advanced Networking
• Experience with enterprise network technologies such as Cisco, Fortinet or Juniper
• Knowledge of automation or infrastructure as code
• Familiarity with ITIL, Agile or other delivery methodologies
