Job Summary


Drive HBX Group’s virtual card payment strategy end‑to‑end, scale global B2B payment flows, and position HBX Group as a leading travel payments partner. You’ll lead cross‑functional execution across Product, Tech, Commercial, Finance, Legal, Risk, and Operations to deliver compliant, scalable virtual card programs that boost revenue, working capital, and automation.

You will define and deploy HBX Group’s virtual card payment strategy and roadmap to deliver annual recurring revenue, while establishing HBX Group as a leading B2B travel payment solution. Serve as the central connector across teams and partners to scale, govern, and continuously improve virtual card programs that enhance working capital, reduce debtor balances, capture rebates, and automate back‑office operations


Job Responsibilities

* Own the virtual card program: From issuer selection and commercial model to product design, implementation, and client launch.
* Define product–market fit for travel payments: Translate client/issuer/internal needs into scalable flows (onboarding, issuance, data, reconciliation, reporting).
* Lead cross‑functional governance: Align Legal, Finance, Tax, Tech, Risk, Sales, and Partnerships to secure approvals and enable compliant, commercially viable rollouts.
* Build compelling value propositions: Position virtual cards as a strategic solution for suppliers and partners to drive adoption and long‑term revenue.
* Set and run the roadmap: Prioritize initiatives, manage milestones, and deliver new issuing programs, currencies, and features—owning business cases, testing, training, and partner alignment.
* Act as the subject‑matter expert: Champion virtual card innovation, guide internal teams, and upskill stakeholders to accelerate HBX’s fintech evolution.
* Improve client experience: Gather feedback, resolve pain points in payouts, and collaborate with Commercial, Operations, and GFS to enhance the partner journey.
* Risk & issue management: Escalate conflicts early, find alternatives, and protect budget and delivery targets.


Required Skillset and Experience

Core capabilities

* Ability to assess, simplify, and communicate complex business & technical topics clearly.
* Strong product ownership mindset with hands‑on delivery across ambiguous, fast‑moving environments.
* Excellent prioritization, program/project management, and stakeholder management across regions.
* Analytical and detail‑oriented: connect dots across multi‑stakeholder ecosystems and iterate fast.
* Confident communicator and educator: able to package, train, and enable Sales/Go‑to‑Market teams across regions.


Payments & technology

* Deep understanding of B2B payments, virtual card ecosystems (pay‑in, pay‑out, intermediaries, partners, reconciliation).
* Experience with APIs, integrations, and launching/scaling new payment solutions.
* Business analysis & requirements engineering for new VCC solutions.


Experience

* 5+ years in payments, with a track record in one or more: B2B Payments, Virtual Cards, Product, Solutions, GTM, Commercial Ops, Pre‑sales.
* Proven success driving results through payment innovation and multi‑regional delivery.
* Comfortable navigating complex client and internal environments with a proactive, “doer” attitude.
