ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Studio Director who is organized, committed, and inspiring, to take responsibility for the Stim Studio Liège site.
As the local studio lead, you will oversee global operations, ensure the well-being of the teams, and be responsible for the proper administrative, organizational, and budgetary follow-up.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* General Supervision:
o Oversee the smooth progress of all ongoing productions.
o Ensure a global view of resources (human, technical, financial) to guarantee operational efficiency and fluidity.
o Monitor and validate studio expenses, particularly those related to production costs.
* Administrative & Organizational Management:
o Oversee local HR and administrative management (contracts, staff follow-up, onboarding of new hires).
o Coordinate general services (facilities, safety, external providers, maintenance, supplies).
o Ensure internal procedures are followed and information flows efficiently with the general management team.
* Actively contribute to team well-being and cohesion.
* Promote a transparent and motivating work environment.
* Institutional Relations & Partnerships:
o Represent Stim Liège with local institutions, cultural partners, and professional organizations.
o Strengthen and develop the studio’s connections within the local and international animation ecosystem.
PROFILE
* Proven experience in studio management, operational direction, or coordination in animation or VFX.
* Solid understanding of production pipelines and organizational challenges, even without a direct decision-making role in production.
* Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and forward planning.
* Natural leadership and ability to unite a team around shared objectives.
* Fluency in French and English (written and spoken).
