With our ongoing Expansion and Elevation Strategy, we are currently seeking a EMEA Network Operations Centre Analyst to join our Network Operations Centre Team in Belgium. With a converged network connecting our Brands and Operations across 20+ countries, including Branch Locations, Distributions Centers, Cloud and On-Premises Datacenters around the globe. Our growing team of Engineers is looking for the perfect colleague to help with the continuing growth as well as our technology transformation journey.
We are seeking a talented and bilingual NOC Analyst to join our Network Operations Center (NOC) team. As a NOC Analyst, you will play a critical role in monitoring, troubleshooting, and ensuring the smooth operation of our network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will speak both English and Spanish and possess strong technical skills, analytical thinking, and excellent communication abilities.
The role involves;
Network Monitoring:
Monitor network performance, security, and availability using established tools.
Respond to alerts promptly, analyze issues, and implement resolutions.
Understanding of network management and use of Network Management Platform tools.
Incident Response:
Troubleshoot and resolve network-related incidents in a timely manner.
Handling network alarms and incidents to fulfil KPI/SLA commitment.
Document incident details and resolutions accurately.
Providing 2nd line support for all incidents raised whether internal or external.
Liaising with Third-Party Providers where necessary to resolve faults.
Communication:
Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Provide clear and concise updates during incident resolution and escalation.
Bilingual Support:
Provide support in both English and Spanish to internal and external customers.
Communicate technical information in a manner understandable to non-technical users.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for network configurations and procedures.
Contribute to the knowledge base to facilitate efficient issue resolution.
Collaboration:
Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
Escalate issues to senior team members or other departments when necessary.
General and Technical Responsibilities:
Provide technical support on a range of network hardware, predominantly Cisco.
Working with network team for troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose common network problems.
Provide remote support to Field Engineers working on faults.
Assisting with projects and network designing.
Qualifications
Experience:
Proven experience as a NOC Analyst or in a similar network support role.
Familiarity with network monitoring tools and troubleshooting methodologies.
Understanding of fibre and copper cabling, constraints, technologies, grades, distances, applications.
Troubleshooting WAN connection types including xDSL, FTTC, FTTP, and Ethernet.
Troubleshooting Wireless WAN connection types including Cellular, Wi-Max, Satellite.
Language Skills:
Fluency in both English and Spanish is essential.
Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively in both languages.
Technical Skills:
Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, NAT).
Experience working with Wireless infrastructure, Controllers, Access Points
Provisioning network services; VRF, VPNs, Wireless, IP Telephony, CCTV, IPTV.
Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., PRTG, Netflow).
Certifications:
Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+ are a plus.
Equivalent demonstrable experience and working towards certifications acceptable.
Soft Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
