Job description
As a buyer/contractor, you will spend about 10-20% of your time abroad. The other time you will work from one of our offices in Belgium: Ghent, Brussels, Londerzeel or in the Netherlands: Nieuwegein, Haarlem, combined with working from home. In concrete terms, your duties will be as follows:
* You are ultimately responsible for the procurement of package holidays. For this, you have a lot of contact with our partners on site.
* Together with your team leader and the Product Coordinator, you work on a strategic production plan for our package holidays for sale in all our markets (Flanders, Wallonia, France, the Netherlands and Germany).
* To do this, you closely follow the trends in your destination and our markets. You follow what our competitors are doing, what our markets demand (Flanders, Wallonia, France, the Netherlands and Germany) and what developments there are in the destinations themselves. To do so, you spar with other buyers, product coordinators, partners, tourist services and all sales teams, among others.
* Based on the purchasing plan, you travel to your destinations to convince partners to work with us for accommodation, transport and excursions.
* You conclude clear contracts and cooperation conditions with each partner regarding prices, allotments/guarantees, cancellation conditions and invoicing conditions.
* You provide each partner with a clear fact sheet (detailed product description, 'how to book instructions', image bank, etc.).

* You have several years of relevant work experience in tourism as a buyer.
* Knowledge and/or experience of one or more of our destinations is a plus, but not a necessity.
* You have professional oral and written communication skills in English (preferably C1).
* You are flexible and stress-resistant. You are not put off by the fact that you will be abroad on a regular basis.
* You have a car and driving licence B.
