MpowerT is conducting a search on behalf of a rapidly growing Belgian industrial group active in Industrial Automation. Backed by Private Equity, the organization is known for its strong governance, entrepreneurial culture, and clear strategic ambition to scale sustainably in Belgium and abroad.
To support this next growth phase, we are looking for a handsâon and experienced HR Director who can bring structure, clarity and leadership across a complex, multiâentity environment.
đ The Role: HR Director
As HR Director, you hold endâtoâend responsibility for shaping, implementing and driving the HR agenda across the group. You operate as a senior management partner, reporting directly to the CEO, while remaining deeply involved in dayâtoâday HR operations.
This role is situated in a context that is still being built. It requires someone who naturally combines strategic direction with strong operational execution, and who acts as a credible and stable counterpart for entrepreneurial leaders, site managers and senior management.
⥠Key Responsibilities
Group HR Leadership & Operations
* You lead and further develop the HR function across Belgium, the Netherlands and other international entities.
* You remain closely involved in core HR operations.
* You support and challenge senior management and business line managers in peopleârelated decisionâmaking.
Structure, Policies & Harmonisation
* You design and implement pragmatic HR frameworks within a fastâgrowing and decentralised group.
* You develop and roll out groupâwide policies
* you drive harmonisation of payroll and HR processes
* You translate the groupâs strategy into concrete HR priorities and ways of working.
* You further build leadership and talent initiatives across the organisation.
Reporting, Governance & Analytics
* You are responsible for structured HR reporting at group and Board level
* You provide insight behind the numbers and ensure compliance with labour legislation and internal governance across countries.
M&A & International Growth
* You play an active role in mergers and acquisitions, spanning HR due diligence, integration and postâmerger harmonisation.
* You support international expansion and work closely with local stakeholders and external advisors. Regular travel across sites is an integral part of the role.

* You are an experienced HR leader with a strong operational foundation and proven experience in complex, growing environments.
* You bring solid expertise in hard HR disciplines such as payroll, compensation & benefits, HR operations and compliance.
* You have experience in multiâentity settings and ideally in M&A integration.
* You are comfortable with reporting and key business metrics, and able to translate data into clear insights.
* As a person, you are a confident and clear communicator who can bring structure, drive, and people-focused leadership to a growing organization.
