Your mission
As a Product Owner, your primary goal is to define, prioritize, and deliver high-value digital and operational solutions that align with business objectives.
You are part of the marketing team and report to the Business Director.
You work closely with the Marketing Manager and lead a team of Product Owner.
You act as the bridge between stakeholders and development teams (IT department), ensuring that the product vision is effectively translated into actionable user stories and deliverables.
Job Purpose
1. You contribute to the product vision and ambition together with the Marketing Manager
2. You define features, channels, and processes to be developed, as well as their acceptance criteria
3. You prepare and actively participate in QBR & PI planning, prioritize your product backlog, and align with multiple stakeholders and squads
4. You are responsible for the quality and timely delivery of your squad's products
️ Your Responsibilities
• Backlog management & prioritization: Define, prioritize, and manage the product backlog based on portfolio priorities (from the Marketing Manager), business & customer impact, and stakeholder input. Make sure priorities are clear to everyone. Balance maintenance and innovation features to match business ambition. Align on PI plans, anticipate priority issues, impediments or risks, and use appropriate channels to resolve them.
• Squad & cross-team collaboration: Drive the squad and work closely with Product Managers, developers, UX/UI designers, testers, etc. to design, test, validate, and deliver high-quality products on time.
• Customer advocacy & quality: Act as the voice of the customer, ensuring development aligns with user needs. Organize technical and user testing (with expert support) to maximize value. Ensure timely delivery.
• Performance & value optimization: Leverage data-driven insights to measure product impact, evaluate outcomes, and manage continuous improvements.
About the ideal candidate
Education: Master’s degree or equivalent experience, with a strong affinity for marketing
Experience: Minimum years in a Product Owner or Product Manager role
Agile mindset: Proven experience in Agile methodologies and product ownership
Problem Solver: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strategic Thinker: Able to translate business needs into clear technical requirements
️ Excellent Communicator: Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities
Leadership: Experience in leading a team (directly or indirectly)
️ Adaptability: Comfortable navigating complex and fast-changing environments
Languages: Fluent in French or Dutch, with a strong command of English
