We are working alongside our client, a fast-growing business within the robotics, warehouse automation and intralogistics sector, based near Lokeren, Belgium, to hire a Robotics Project Engineer.

The Role
As a Robotics Project Engineer, you will act as the technical point of contact for assigned racking and robotics projects, ensuring the most effective technical solution is developed, documented and successfully delivered.
You will work closely with internal engineering teams, project managers, customers and external stakeholders to review technical documentation, support technical decision-making, resolve engineering challenges, and ensure projects are delivered in line with quality, safety, cost and timeline requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as the technical single point of contact for assigned robotics and racking projects.
* Review and analyse technical documentation provided by internal and external stakeholders.
* Develop the most effective technical solution within project constraints.
* Produce and support technical drawings, calculations, documentation and feasibility justifications.
* Coordinate and follow up with engineering team members to ensure technical documents are completed accurately and efficiently.
* Support technical meetings, site inspections and onsite activities where required.
* Assist internal stakeholders with technical issues before and during project execution.
* Source and coordinate with external vendors for materials, installations and project requirements.
* Support the onsite realisation of robotics and warehouse automation projects.
Requirements
* Master’s degree in Engineering, ideally within electromechanics, mechatronics, industrial design or a similar discipline.
* Minimum of 3 years’ experience in project engineering, technical project coordination or a related engineering role.
* Experience within robotics, warehouse automation, intralogistics, racking, material handling or complex mechanical / electromechanical projects.
* Good understanding of technical drawings, engineering documentation, calculations and technical feasibility.
* Knowledge of stability and strength calculations.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to manage internal and external stakeholders.
* Good knowledge of Dutch and English; French and/or German would be advantageous.
* Strong MS Office skills, particularly Excel.
* Willingness to travel abroad when required.
* Proactive, dynamic, stress-resistant and comfortable working in a fast-paced technical environment.
