Overview
Within the Transport Solutions department, you guarantee the stability of production systems by managing and implementing a number of releases (planning, quality control, communication).
Responsibilities
* Organizing and planning the releases and maintenance of the systems (release & maintenance slots)
* Determine the content of the releases based on the business priorities and the available resources within the department
* Identify the risks, impact (technical and business), and interdependencies of all requests in collaboration with the release coordinators and/or team leaders
* Inform the Change Managers, the internal Customer and the other Release Managers
* Propose each release to the Change Advisory Board for approval before implementation
* Verify the existence of deliverables during the release (test results, release installation procedure, risk and impact analysis, operational documentation, etc.)
* Responsible for communication during key moments of the release (planning, procedure, implementation) within the IS department and with regard to the business
* To ensure necessary adjustments to the \"Configuration Items\" in the CMDB when required
* Conduct lessons-learned meetings after each major release and develop recommendations for improvement as needed
* Assist the Release Process Owner if necessary
* Ensure the follow-up of good practices in release management procedures within the department and raise awareness among all stakeholders of their validity
