Our client, active in the credit insurance sector, is looking for a Credit Rating Analyst to strengthen their team covering Belgium and Luxembourg. This is a structured analytical role, with direct contact with companies in the market, offering an excellent environment to grow your financial expertise.
Main responsibilities of the Credit Rating Analyst: Collect, analyse, and interpret financial data from companies in Belgium and Luxembourg Modify or confirm company ratings based on the information gathered Manage alerts and negative signals from external information providers Verify, enrich, and consolidate data for the Risk & Information departments Contact companies to obtain financial statements and/or arrange deep-dive interviews (Teams or on-site visits) Closely monitor a portfolio of companies to provide underwriters with updated and relevant information Contribute to keeping as many ratings as possible up to date, in line with the group's targets
Ideal profile of the Credit Rating Analyst: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or equivalent experience Solid experience in financial analysis of company accounts Ability to understand economic and sector trends and compare companies with their competitors Rigorous, process-driven, consistent Team player, organised, able to multitask and meet tight deadlines Fluent in Dutch and in English; French is an asset Comfortable interacting with company leaders (CEOs/CFOs) during calls and visits
