Work from the Zaventem office as part of the Risk Advisory department (about 50 people in Belgium) within the Business Risk team. What will you be doing? As a Manager in Risk Advisory, you’ll help organizations navigate complex risk landscapes, ensuring their strategies and operations align with their goals. You’ll work on risk and control services such as Internal Audit and Internal Control. Key Responsibilities Execute and report on risk-based internal audits, providing practical, value-driven advice. Support clients in optimizing internal control frameworks, offering pragmatic solutions and considering automation where possible. Take responsibility for the entire project and the quality of work of the team. Manage multiple concurrent projects with transparency, ensuring timely delivery and clear communication. Drive innovation by introducing fresh ideas in project execution and product development. Act as a trusted relationship manager for clients and collaborate to understand their context well. Share insights on BDO’s business and market trends and suggest improvements. Mentor and advise junior team members to help them excel. Support team efficiency through knowledge sharing. Qualifications Educational Background: Master’s degree in Business Administration, Law, Economics, Management, Finance, or a related field. Experience: Minimum 6 years in Internal Audit, Internal Control, External Audit, or a similar field. Skills & Expertise: Familiarity with internal audit standards (IIA) and risk frameworks (COSO, ISO 31000). Financial Services experience is a plus. Strong analytical and facilitation abilities to guide clients effectively. Passion for improving organizational efficiency and providing pragmatic client solutions. Ability to demonstrate leadership, autonomy, and facilitate client workshops and presentations. Language Proficiency: Excellent command of French and English; Dutch is an asset.
