Job Summary
We’re looking for a Field Service Engineer – Nuclear Medicine to become part of our Service Team, supporting Mediso Medical Imaging Systems throughout Belgium, the Netherlands, and occasionally France. In this position, you’ll deliver professional remote and on-site technical support to ensure optimal equipment performance and customer satisfaction. Acting as the primary contact for technical troubleshooting, you'll play a key role in maintaining strong customer relationships. This role involves regular travel within your region and close cooperation with our international healthcare partners to make a meaningful impact.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide technical service and maintenance for all Mediso models in the assigned region.
* Troubleshoot and resolve complex system-level issues, both remote and on-site
* Conduct quality&safety checks and calibration processes.
* Maintain clear communication with end-users and department leads regarding equipment status and service actions.
* Ensure customer satisfaction through timely response, quality service, and proactive communication.
* Manage Warranty and Preventive Maintenance service contract costs effectively.
* Support sales activities, including customer visits, identifying sales opportunities, and assisting with training where needed.
* Accurately complete all administrative duties, including service reports and field updates, in a timely manner.
Qualifications & Requirements
* You hold a Bachelor’s in Electronics, Biomedical Engineering, Medical Imaging, or a related field with 2-5 years of experience in medical imaging systems.
* Strong technical understanding of high-tech/medical imaging equipment.
* In-depth computer knowledge hardware, software and networking.
* Self-starter capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; customer-first mindset.
* Fluent in English and either French or Dutch (ideally both). You’re confident in handling customer interactions in both languages and motivated to keep improving if one is slightly weaker.
* Valid driver’s license.
