Job Description
As a Software & Systems Integration Engineer, you contribute to the reliable operation of automated warehouses by configuring standard software and developing scalable, customer‑specific plugins. You integrate our systems with ERP platforms, PLCs, and robots, thoroughly testing everything in advance and completing projects on‑site at customer locations. You take an active role throughout technical integration projects—from analysis and development to implementation and support. Switching smoothly between coding, customer interaction, and operational support comes naturally to you.

As Integration Software Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on impactful projects, be the face of Movu towards our important customers, and develop cutting‑edge solutions in a collaborative and innovative environment.
Parametrization & Customization
* Configure standardized software components to align with customer requirements.
* Develop modular components and plugins tailored to specific customer needs.
* Build interfaces with external systems using REST APIs, MQTT, OPC UA, or other industrial protocols.
* Collaborate on testing, debugging, and continuous code improvement in coordination with the development team.
* Execute the technical integration of automation solutions at customer sites.
* Prepare detailed technical documentation and integration diagrams.
* Conduct FAT/SAT testing and oversee on‑site acceptance procedures.
* Coordinate technical efforts with internal teams, customer IT departments, and external partners.
* Set up and commission systems on location.
* Diagnose and resolve software and integration issues in collaboration with cross‑functional teams.
* Train key users and deliver hands‑on technical support during system startup.
* Perform functional analyses based on customer requirements.
* Provide expert advice on scalability, integration approaches, and technical optimisation.
* Feed field experience back into product development and improvement.
Qualifications
* Mid‑level professional with 4–5 years of experience, preferably in an industrial or logistics environment.
* Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Associate degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Industrial Sciences, Programming, or a related field.
* Technical skills: Knowledge of one or more of the following technologies:
o Experience in logistics is a strong advantage.
o Proficient in software development with Python.
o Ideally experienced with databases such as PostgreSQL and containerization using Docker.
o Experience with .NET Core is a bonus, particularly in C#, Entity Framework, Web API, REST, and SignalR.
o Fluent in Dutch and English.
