Team/division description
Toyota Motor Europe R&D Centre is responsible for:
1. Developing vehicles and making concept proposal for EU core models .
2. Reflecting EU technology to Toyota Vehicles timely by utilizing location advantage and strong network with EU partners.
Body Division Interior design Engineering is responsible for Planning & Design of Upper Body parts for European Vehicles from concept phase to serial production.
Your responsibilities
3. Design and development of interior Trim, Instrument panel, Seat and Seatbelts into vehicle projects, while achieving performance, quality and cost target
4. Investigate style feasibility and co-operate with Styling department in order to secure feasibility.
5. Creation of 3D CAD model and production drawing.
6. Co-operate with suppliers and Toyota production engineering department to secure production feasibility of parts.
7. Secure regulation compliance and collaborate with Homologation department.
8. Support plant production and quality engineers to solve the concerns raised during production trials.
9. Design and development of interior Trim, Instrument panel, Seat and Seatbelts into vehicle projects.

10. You are fluent in English (TME’s business language)
11. You are a career starter (less than 18 months of experience excluding internships)
12. You have good feeling with interior quality and materials.
13. You have a degree in Engineering or Industrial design.
14. You are available to travel for business.
