Supply Chain Manager Job Description
This role is responsible for overseeing the entire supply chain process, ensuring maximum service delivery to customers while maintaining high productivity, low inventory value, and minimal overstock.
Main Responsibilities:
* Oversight of sourcing and planning of raw materials and consumables.
* Supervision of production planning and sequencing.
* Management of order preparation and dispatch processes.
In addition to these responsibilities, this role involves participating in day-to-day operations when necessary. Active participation in the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process ensures a balance between production capacity and commercial requirements over an 18-month horizon. This includes preparing for regular 'Supply Review' meetings with relevant stakeholders to ensure informed decision-making.
The Supply Chain Manager will also be involved in managing warehouse spaces for raw materials, packaging, and finished goods. The goal here is to establish efficient logistics procedures that promote key performance indicators related to safety, productivity quality inventory accuracy which result from strong teamwork collaboration effectively driving business growth amidst competitive market conditions efficiently
