Role: Interim Plant/Site manager
Location: Province of Liège
Duration: 12 months
Hours: 40 Hours per week, 5 days per week (Fully onsite)
language: French (must), English (plus)
For the Interim Plant/Site manager the following tasks apply:
* Responsible for the overall management of the site: production, logistics, and technical maintenance
* Ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality production
* Develop and monitor production schedules, budgets, and performance indicators (KPIs)
* Coordinate preventive maintenance plans and technical optimization projects
* Implement continuous improvement projects (Lean, 5S, OEE, cost reduction)
* Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards
* Propose investment projects and contribute to the site’s growth strategy
Daily Activities:
* Set up daily start-up meetings in the factory
* Follow up on malfunctions or downtime from the previous day
* Initiate and drive cultural change within the factory
Profile:
* French-speaking; English is a plus
* Higher technical education (Bachelor/Master), for example in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Management
* Proven experience (at least 5 years) in a leadership role within production or factory operations
* Experience in managing a technical service or maintenance department
* Knowledge of fully automated production environments
* Experience with continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, TPM, etc.)
* Strong leadership, excellent communication skills, analytical and decisive
* Practical mindset with a hands-on approach and strong safety and quality awareness
* People management skills
