What You Will Be Doing
Facilitating adaptive reading workshops that strengthen phonics, comprehension, and fluency capabilities
Creating individualized motivational experiences through gamified literacy benchmarks
Examining student performance metrics to adjust instruction and extract meaningful findings
Partnering with engineering teams to assess and improve AI literacy platforms informed by classroom outcomes
Producing scalable, AI-supported materials that enable early elementary learners to reach grade-level reading standards
Basic Requirements
Reading Specialist key responsibilities
Bachelor's degree with specialized certification in reading pedagogy (Orton-Gillingham, Wilson, or equivalent)
2+ years conducting small-group reading interventions with early elementary students
Capable of evaluating reading proficiency, organizing student groups, and creating differentiated instruction independent of pre-built curricula
Experienced with AI/adaptive learning platforms and attentive to student behavioral indicators
Legal authorization to work in Puerto Rico without sponsorship
Prepared to work on-site in Dorado, Puerto Rico

Working with us
This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $50 USD/hour, which equates to $100,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
