Job Description:
As a GIS Engineer, you'll assist and advise our clients on the design, development, and use of their geodata platforms. You'll ensure clients have access to the necessary high-quality geodata at all times. You'll use ETL techniques to build data pipelines, ensuring a smooth flow from data source to user.As a GIS Engineer, you'll have experience with all the relevant tools to make this possible, such as ESRI tools, FMI, QGIS, etc. You won't limit yourself to a single tool but will have experience manipulating data across the entire data lifecycle: data sources, databases, ETL, GIS tools, and more. What do we expect from you as a GIS Engineer?
· You have at least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
· You have extensive experience using FME and ArcGIS.
· Knowledge of QGIS is a plus
· SQL and (geo)data modelling hold no secrets for you.
· You have experience using databases and geodatabases.
· Knowledge of Python is a plus.
· You have knowledge of data platforms and cloud technology.
· You are precise, analytically strong and you always think in terms of solutions.
· You are a smooth communicator, both internally and towards client stakeholders.
· A good command of Dutch is a must.
