Overview
Senior Software Engineer - Are you a software engineer with a passion for building innovative solutions and shaping the digital future? We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to take a key role in integrating cloud, data, and AI components while making smart technology choices that ensure both speed to market and high quality.
Your expertise in modern software development, scripting languages (Node.js, TypeScript), and microservices architecture (Docker, Docker Swarm) on-premise will be essential.
Key Responsibilities
* Translate user stories into practical solutions that align with the overall software architecture.
* Take ownership of integrating the complete solution by connecting all components seamlessly.
* Make informed technology decisions that balance fast delivery with high quality.
* Write clean, high-quality code, including documentation and unit testing, while also mentoring colleagues.
* Leverage your strong background in modern software development, particularly in scripting languages (Node.js, TypeScript) and their ecosystem; Python is an advantage.
* Define integration approaches for third-party components.
* Design interfaces for the cloud backend (REST) and/or IoT, when applicable.
* Contribute to cloud and backend development, including Dockers, databases, and DevOps practices.
What we’re looking for
* At least 5 years of proven experience in software development.
* Experience in the healthcare industry or with related technologies is a plus.
* Strong knowledge of the technologies and tools listed in the responsibilities above.
* Someone who enjoys coaching and guiding junior colleagues.
* A developer who writes code that is clean, self-explanatory, and reliable.
* A professional who thrives in a global organization and works effectively with a high degree of autonomy.
* Experience with AWS is a definite plus.
