For our Sea Logistics team in Antwerp, we are looking for a motivated Operational Care Specialist who takes ownership of the full operational export process for reefer sea freight shipments, from booking to invoicing. In this role, you play a key part in delivering reliable, compliant, and high-quality transport solutions to our customers.
How you create impact
1. Coordinate reefer export shipments end-to-end, managing the full operational process to ensure timely and cost-effective transport execution
2. Confirm and manage bookings with carriers and partners, acting as the central point of operational coordination
3. Enter and maintain shipment data in the system, ensuring data quality and transparency
4. Prepare, review and manage all shipping documents, including Bills of Lading, packing lists and certificates of origin
5. Ensure full compliance with international, local and port-specific regulations, collaborating closely with Customer Care and Customs teams
6. Optimize the operational and administrative processes and work cross-functionally to continuously improve efficiency
What we would like you to bring
7. Background in freight forwarding, gained through relevant studies, work experience, or ideally a combination of both
8. Experience in sea freight is preferred; reefer or healthcare/pharma shipments are a strong plus
9. Strong organizational skills with the ability to keep an overview, manage workload effectively, and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment
10. A performance-driven and ambitious mindset, combined with strong attention to detail and a structured, reliable way of working
11. Fluency in English is essential; Dutch is highly desirable, while French is an advantage
