Within our Knowledge Unit, we develop evidence-based tools, provide technical support for implementation, and continuously evaluate the impact of our operations. FunctionAs Technical Project Manager in the Knowledge Unit, you will lead the development and rollout of evidence-based First Aid products and support partner organizations in scaling high-quality training. You will coordinate Flemish volunteers delivering trainings across Africa and combine product development, capacity strengthening, monitoring & evaluation, research, and representation. In addition, you will play a key role in diversifying RKVI's funding base — identifying and developing new opportunities with foundations, corporate donors, private philanthropists, and innovative finance mechanisms to increase our impact. Your impact Build expertise in First Aid and translate insights into concrete, high-quality products Develop and update evidence-based guidelines and training materials Coordinate volunteer missions and ensure quality and effectiveness Strengthen partner organizations' capacity to scale First Aid services locally Support planning, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting of projects Conduct research and share results to enhance RKVI's thought leadership Develop compelling proposals and build sustainable partnerships Represent RKVI in technical forums and increase visibility of our work Your profile Strong affinity with or experience in First Aid Solid project management experience, preferably in a health-related context Excellent communication skills, both written and oral A higher education degree in a medical, scientific, or related field Experience in fundraising and stakeholder management Analytical, problem-solving, and proactive mindset Didactic and facilitation skills; experience in training-of-trainers is a plus Long-term commitment to RKVI's mission Willingness to travel occasionally to challenging locations Very good command of English and French; Dutch is a strongasset Our offer A meaningful and impactful role in a purpose-driven organization A varied and responsible position A permanent contract A competitive salary package with attractive benefits LocationMechelen How to apply You can apply on.
