Requirements:
* Minimum 3 years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server, SSRS, SSIS, and SSAS
* Experience with data warehouse design
* Experience with ETL processes
* Working experience with SharePoint (administration experience desirable)
* Demonstrated competence and experience with programming languages such as C#, Python, or R
* Experience with dashboard development on Microsoft Power BI or similar reporting tools
* Experience with BMC ITSM/ITSM data
* ITIL v3 or higher certification
* Experience with BMC Remedy Smart Reporting tool
Duties & Role:
* Takes responsibility for the accessibility, retrievability, and security of specific subsets of data
* Maintains and implements information handling procedures
* Enables the availability, integrity, and searchability of information through formal data structures and protection measures
* Selects criteria to support data processing operations, data flow, and flow control systems
* Customizes data fields to meet clients' needs
* Assesses the integrity of data from multiple sources, including sensors, measurement systems, or ticketing systems
* Manipulates specific data from information services to satisfy local or specific information needs
* Investigates enterprise data requirements and applies data analysis, modelling, and quality assurance techniques to establish, modify, or maintain data structures and components (entity descriptions, relationship descriptions, attribute definitions)
* Applies data analysis and data modelling techniques to establish, modify, and maintain data structures and associated components
* Detects and summarizes patterns in data, producing simple reports
* Assesses common problems and obstacles surrounding data gathering
* Interprets and explains results of data-gathering initiatives
* Provides advice and guidance to database designers and others using data structures and associated components
* Collects required data through various data sources
* Utilizes designated data analysis software (internal and external) to analyse data
* Writes reports from data analysis to help decision-making at the senior level
* Investigates data requirements in the software development process
* Participates in designing blueprints on how to structure, store, and utilize data
* Follows standards, processes, and methodologies to develop each phase of data architecture (e.g., data manipulating processes, database technology generating processes)
* Participates in projects to gather data for needs analysis
* Compiles user requirements and specifications for reports
* Designs, creates, and tests SQL reports using SSRS, Power BI, and Excel
* Validates report functionality with internal staff/end users
* Responds to users to troubleshoot and/or improve existing reports
* Designs and develops ETL processes, data models, and data warehouses
