Transport & Environment (T&E), Europe’s leading clean transport think tank and campaign group, is looking for a passionate and strategic policy expert to drive the transition towards sustainable and circular car manufacturing.
As Automotive Sustainability Policy Manager, you will lead efforts to reduce the carbon and material footprint of Europe’s automotive sector. Lead T&E’s work on key automotive policies related to vehicle materials, sustainability, and circularity by developing and implementing impactful policies.
Coordinate efforts on automotive sustainability, working across internal teams, T&E members, and national experts.
Develop research and policy recommendations on key automotive materials like steel and aluminum, helping to decarbonize car manufacturing.
Experience working on automotive policies: good understand how policies affects the automotive industry;
Expertise in automotive production, vehicle circularity, material sustainability or vehicle lifecycle assessments;
Project management skills – experience managing programs across multiple teams.
Excellent communication skills – able to break down technical content for different audiences.
