Our client, a global Food Manufacturer, is seeking an experienced Food Safety & Quality Manager to lead food safety and quality operations at plant level. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with industry standards (BRC, IFS, ISO) while driving continuous improvement initiatives. You will lead a team of 5, manage external audits, and work with internal and external stakeholders to enhance product quality and mitigate risks. This is a key position with significant impact on the site’s FS&Q culture and transformation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the implementation and adherence to FS&Q policies and processes.
* Manage compliance with BRC, IFS, ISO, and other certifications.
* Oversee audit processes, corrective actions, and regulatory compliance.
* Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
* Foster strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and regulators.
* Manage a team of quality professionals (Compliance Expert, QA, QC).
* Lead crisis management and internal/external committees.
Ideal Candidate:
* Degree in Food Science, Quality Management, or related field.
* 7+ years of FS&Q management experience.
* Strong technical knowledge of GFSI-recognized food safety schemes.
* Proven leadership ability with a proactive, results-oriented approach.
* Fluent in English and Flemish, with strong communication skills.
