As Payroll Officer in our Payroll Department for Maritime Crew, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll administration for our colleagues working on dredging and offshore projects. In this role, you combine administrative precision with service-oriented support, contributing to the wellbeing of our 550 seafarers.
Your responsibilities
* Create and maintain personnel files in our payroll software, ensuring all data is accurate and up to date.
* Verify and validate timesheets for maritime crew members.
* Preparing and discussing employment contracts.
* Handle payroll-related questions and requests, providing clear and timely answers.
* Handling onboarding and offboarding documentation.
* Collaborate closely with your colleague to manage payroll for approximately 550 seafarers across dredging and offshore divisions.
* Perform administrative tasks with a high level of accuracy, as manual work remains an important part of this role.
Your profile
* You hold a bachelor's degree and have an administrative background; 1–2 years of payroll experience is an asset.
* You can set priorities and maintain a flexible attitude in a dynamic environment.
* You have an eye for detail and guarantee a service- and quality-oriented approach.
* You have an interest in and affinity with social legislation.
* You are proficient in MS Office.
* You work independently but value teamwork.
* You express yourself fluently in Dutch and English.
