Electrical Design Engineer - English mandatory + French or Dutch - ALTEN BelgiumAs part of our ongoing growth, we are looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to join our teams and work on client projects located in Brussels.
As an Electrical Design Engineer, your main responsibilities will include:Design and manage studies for HV substations, grid connections, LV and protection systemsDevelop and apply knowledge in HV, MV, and LV system design (one-line diagrams, functionalities)Specify and integrate transformers, reactors, GIS, switchgear, and other substation componentsDesign LV auxiliary systems: Define protection concepts and design protection/control panels for various systemsDesign earthing systems, lightning protection, and HV/MV/LV cable layoutssupervise installation and commissioning on-siteManage technical, commercial, and administrative follow-up of contracts
Master's degree in Industrial or Electrical Engineering, preferably with focus on Power Systems~Proficient in English, with French or Dutch as a second language~ Team player with a customer-focused mindset~ Strong sense of responsibility regarding project planning, finances, and knowledge sharing
