About the job
As a Lean Engineer, you will be a key driver of transformation and continuous improvement across our manufacturing site. You will lead the deployment of the Sanofi Manufacturing System (SMS 2.0), support performance initiatives, and foster a culture of operational excellence.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams—from shopfloor to leadership—to identify improvement opportunities, implement Lean methodologies, and ensure sustainable impact aligned with strategic goals.
Key responsibilities:
1. Lead and support the deployment of SMS 2.0 and other transformation programs (. Factory 4.0, boosters).
2. Drive continuous improvement initiatives and coach teams in Lean tools and problem-solving techniques.
3. Identify and eliminate process inefficiencies and waste, ensuring measurable performance gains.
4. Collaborate with departments and process owners to implement impactful improvement projects.
5. Promote standardization and alignment with global SMS 2.0 practices.
6. Integrate digital solutions to enhance operational performance.
7. Build and sustain a performance-driven, improvement-focused culture across all levels of the organization.
Profiel
About you
8. Bachelor of Science, Engineering, Business or Operations.
9. 5+ years manufacturing experience or LEAN industrial experience with good understanding of overall business operations knowledge and Good Manufacturing Practices. Experience in leading complex and cross-functional initiatives. Project Management and Change Management experience preferred.
10. Highly Proficient in MS Office Applications including Excel, PowerPoint & PowerBi.
11. Excellent Communication Skills both in English and Dutch (verbal, written and presentation)
12. Excellent Interpersonal and Influential Leadership Skills, and strong end-to-end Business Acumen. Demonstrates Leadership behavior for challenging status quo and driving Transformation. Ability to function within a diverse team, from shop floor to leadership.
13. Ability to train and coach.
